So, I got a fab delivery today… my little haul from Old English Company! I was so excited, and now I’ve seen it all I’m even more excited to use it! As you will all know from my previous post, I LOVE stationery! Organisation is extremely important in my life with 3 kids, a husband, a full-time job, a house and a blog to look after… as well as everything else that life decides to throw at me! So I’ve got a planner for everything I can think of!
These are the planners I spoke about in my last post – I absolutely love the colours of these, mine is the charcoal grey and my daughter picked the blush pink one. She’s studying for her GCSEs at the moment so this will come in handy for her. I’m going to use mine at work for my weekly tasks.
I picked the weekly agenda tear-off pad to plan out my dinners as we’ve got really bad with sticking to our dinners lately and going for takeaways instead. We used to plan our meals for every day of the week and stick to it religiously but since I’ve been in hospital and done my knee in, and my husband had an operation on his jaw, being on painkillers ever since so he can’t be bothered some days. So, I’m hoping planning our meals every week will help us get back on track. The notepad I decided to buy to use as a shopping list pad… firstly to make sure I buy all the ingredients for our planned meals, and secondly so I don’t forget the things I think of through the week. Not gonna lie, since having my youngest daughter 7 years ago, I forget A LOT!! I’m also in total denial that this has anything to do with the fact that I’m in my mid-30s.
I also bought my daughter and I one of these notebooks each, not for any use in particular but at £3.50 each I didn’t feel like I needed a reason! I took the pinkie coloured one on the right and my daughter nabbed the left one in white.
Originally, I ordered a serving board that had the caption ‘Eat Together’ on it in a lighter grey. The lovely Ellie from the company emailed me immediately to let me know that it had been sold out as it was discounted. She let me pick another one and I chose this one in charcoal grey, which as you can see, has names of lots of bread types on. To be honest, it’s a bit smaller than I expected but it is lovely! The coaster I bought to use on my desk at work, and I thought the little message would be nice and useful when it gets a bit stressful!
So, there you go! My gorgeous little buys from this gorgeous little site! Go and check them out, you won’t be disappointed! Their site is linked here for you! I hope you enjoyed reading about my little stationery fix!
Until next time…
