The Blogger’s Survival Guide – eBook Review

Hey! Welcome back to my blog, where in this post I’ll be reviewing The Blogger’s Survival Guide ebook from Nicola at Nic’s Healthy Life. Nic was one of the first bloggers I began interacting with when I set up this blog just over two years ago so when she released this ebook I didn’t think twice about helping her promote it by retweeting etc. I knew it would be worth a read so purchased it and I am so glad I did! Here’s why!

What You Can Expect

Nic doesn’t beat around the bush, or fluff things up with loads of paragraphs before getting to the point. I have to admit, that is one of my pet peeves when reading blog posts! You’ll get to know a little bit about Nic, how and when she started blogging, and why she wrote the ebook. Then she covers everything there is to know about blogging. From writing amazing titles to SEO, earning from your blog to writer’s block.

How It Helped Me

At the start of lockdown, I decided to dedicate more time to my blog because I don’t normally get the time to. This amount of free time ain’t going to happen again (hopefully not under these circumstances anyway) so I wanted to really get my blog going and set myself up so it just needs maintaining when I go back to work. I’ve still got a long way to go but at the beginning, I didn’t know where the hell to start! My brain was frazzled and I had so much going round in my head I couldn’t even write the ideas down!

Just at the right time, Nic and her ebook came to the rescue! I read it, made notes, and felt refreshed afterwards. I knew what I needed to do to help myself become more organised with my blog. The ideas I had previously came flooding to the front of my mind. Straight after finishing it, I had a brainstorming session and I had so much inspiration! I’ve got a lot of work to put in but this ebook has helped me in so many ways. So thanks Nic!

I hope you found this little review helpful! Don’t forget to let me and Nic know what you think!

Until next time, Steff xx
